I am licensed in the state Michigan and graduated from the Wayne county community college program in 2005. I have worked at multiple clinics in the downriver area throughout the years. I have been working in the veterinary field since graduating high school In 2002.
I currently work at Wayne State University as a research lab animal leader overseeing the care of the animals in my building. I maintain the facility and make sure to have exceptional interpersonal relationships with the researchers performing the experiments to guarantee exceptional data and quality animal care.

After starting Erin’s Mobile Pet Care in 2017 I quickly fell in love with it and found how valuable the services can be when they’re done at home and how much it can help your pet’s quality of life when performed at home. I’ve dedicated my life to providing excellent veterinary care.

From minor grooming to more veterinary technical services.
With or without Dremel. I will need owners to hold or restrain. We work together to get the job done.
For second nail trim at same location $20 add on.
For third or more nail trims at same location $10 add on each.
Nail trim with trimmers. Cannot use Dremel. Second cat nail trim and so on at same location $10 each additional.
This would be an add on to a nail trim. $25 is my housecall visit. If you just want paws shaved the price would be $25. $5 add on to any other service.
Rats, mice, rabbits, small mammals will need nails trimmed from time to time.
First trim at same location $25 any additional $10 each.
Dremel only for larger birds. Trimmers only for small birds. If you would like feathers trimmed to prevent flight this is a $15 add on.
I really try to not trim nails or feathers on birds as they need their claws and feathers but sometimes it is needed due to certain medical conditions or living situations.
Only if necessary. I will not express anal glands just because it is requested. This is a normal body function done when your pet defecates. Sometimes due to complications from diet, breed, body make up, or reasons no one understands, anal glands will need to be manually expressed. I am trained and licensed to do this. Education is key. Your pet may need to be referred to a veterinarian for treatment if additional concerns are seen.
Clean ears throughly with education.
This is only if more supplies will need to be used due to the ears being more dirty than usual.
This may need to be referred to a veterinarian for cytology testing if infection could be present and medications are needed to clear up the infection.
Cleaning of eyes with an eye solution. Shaving and trimming of face with clean up. Education with referral to a veterinarian if needed.
Basic would care. Sometimes this is referred to a veterinarian for additional care. In emergencies or on the weekend this could be very useful. You may not even need to go for further care. Call and ask.
This includes shaving and cleansing. Education and wrapping. This may be charged to an emergency visit as well.
It is always best to go back to the veterinarian that performed the surgery for suture/staple removal. They check the area as well to see if infection is present Or there are complication.
Sometimes clients move away or it may be better to do this at home or other things come up and you could benefit from this appointment.
Sometimes pets are prescribed at home subcutaneous fluid therapy to help flush kidneys from kidney disease or for other reasons prescribed by your veterinarian. I can give the fluids at home and help educate you. I can help you become comfortable doing it yourself if long term care is needed. All supplies must be purchased through the prescribing veterinarian. I can give the fluids at home and help educate you.
Home visit consultation to show how to give appropriate meds. I can also just give meds. $25 per visit. Senior Citizen discount available.
This can be a twice a day service. Once in the morning and another visit in the evening. In this case its $15 per visit IF local.!I live in Wyandotte. Must be within 10 miles or under. At my discretion. Message me.
Multiple service add ons are discounted $5-15 per service. Call for more information.
Stop in cat care visit in the evening while you are away. Feed dry/can food, give treats, scoop pan, brush, socialize and or medicate.
This is only offered in the evening once a day for cats.
This service is offered to owners that bring in a stray cat, plan to bring in a stray cat, pr adopt a cat and would like to start off with a clean bath. A simple cat bath is a quick wash with blow dry. I will perform a simple cleaning and trim the nails. Education will come with what your next steps could be for veterinary care. It is recommended that you give Capstar one to two days prior to me, performing the Bath to kill any fleas that could be on the cat. The bath will wash them away.
Emergency home visit. Assess and stabilize with possible referral to veterinarian.
At some point everyone ends up at the ER and sometimes you have questions or your pet needs care after discharge. From giving medications to understanding what to do after your visit to giving fluids to changing bandages and performing wound care, you may need help or someone to come to the home and help you. This is what this service is for. Please message me for more details.
Some emergency clinics have my information and they may refer you to me.
When you go to the veterinary clinic and they are unable to obtain a sample, they may ask you to collect it at home or it may be better to collect it at home in a peaceful comfortable environment. This service I will do for you as long as you are referred by your veterinarian and you get all supplies from your veterinary clinic to be used like collection containers, such as blood tubes or urine and fecal cups. This service is giving medication/showing owner how to give medication.
I definitely offer once a day medicating.
I do offer twice a day medicating depending on where you live And times meds are given. Contact me for more information.
I offer Sani grooms and touch ups. I do not offer baths, full grooms, or shave downs.
This is a clean up of trimming the face, paws, rear end, groin and other areas. I also will clean any sore areas with a medicated Chlorhexidine solution. The ears are cleaned and nails trimmed as well. These cases may need to be referred to a veterinarian post groom. Additional grooming may also need to be performed by a groomer.
Usually cats are matted and/or need their rear ends cleaned In some cases. This service would be performed to shave out the mats and do some additional shaving/clipping and brushing. Education would be discussed for future care. The rear end may need to be trimmed up as well and cleaned with Chlorhexidine solution. In addition, a nail trim would be performed as well.
If you just need a few areas trimmed up and do not necessarily need additional ear cleaned, nails trimmed, etc. I will just charge the minimal visit fee.
Depending what is needed maybe some cleaning or shaving. I will bathe small animals. These may need a referral to a veterinarian with education.
When to get a new pet, how to train any age/any species or breed, end of life/euthanasia, or when is an emergency an emergency.
Training in home can be very beneficial. I come over for 30 minutes and we go over training points for you to do at home after our visit. We walk through the process together and discuss. It is important before scheduling to understand the seriousness of everyone in the home being willing to do what it takes to train and be present at our appointment before scheduling.
This is very hard but a very beneficial appointment. I come over to your home where you have had your companion living for years. It is an open ended sit down initimate discussion with you and your family and your pet to discuss when it may be time to plan for euthanasia/end of life appointment with a veterinarian. I go over the signs and symptoms to look out for to understand when it is the best time to perform the euthanasia and the whole process of what to expect during your visit and what op
Home visit with a discussion and pointers. Talk about breed and species and further discussion of what to expect and do for the lifetime of the pet. How much things could cost or what is needed etc.
